Pros: -easy to use indoors -nice quality handles -attractive Cons: -a bit hard to get used to without a rope -weights could be slightly heavier I would suggest the manufacturer to include instructions on how to use them. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the jump rope. It still feels really weird not having an actual rope, but this was a really cool idea and I'm glad I tried it! Perfect for my small apartment.
If you are at all interested in jumping rope for the cardio benefit consider these. First they are ropeless ie. No rope between handles. What they are are cushioned handles with adjustable ball at end with smooth ball bearing mechanism in the handle. The other side contains a removable weight to give a little extra cardio push. These are great for small low ceiling areas, or rough ground that would tear up expensive ropes. Plus less skill is required to turn the rope. In addition super compact for travel with own carrying bag. Seem to be well built and the bearing mechanism is super smooth. You can get similar products for literally 20 times more. But these do the job at a fraction of the price. Love them so much bought a second pair. Only negative I would have is the coloring of the handle leaves something to be desired. But otherwise love these ropeless jump ropes. Insider tip if you have a Garmin fitness watch many have a jump rope feature that will allow you to track and analyze your JR workout. Cheers
I bought these to use with the Beachbody MBF and MBFA programs. They're great! They definitely take some time to get used to. I had a bruised left forearm for a week while I figured out the best position to hold them. It's also important to check both ends before each use to be sure they're tight. I did have the rope end fly off once and almost had the weight drop out of the other end. Still, once I figured all that out, I've been using them without any issues. I like having the added weight and sensation of a jump rope when doing the jump rope exercises. I'm very happy with them.
I bought these for the Beach Body programs MBF & MBFA bc I didn’t love the ones with the styrofoam balls on the ends and that’s what I bought first. I really do like these so much better! HOWEVER, about a week after I started using them the plastic balls on the end literally flew off in the middle of a workout and I ended up having to superglue them back on but they’ve worked great ever since. Other than that I’ve had no issues and I’m happy with my purchase.
I'm recovering from a spinal injury, so jumping is actually not in the cards for me. This cordless rope allows me to bounce up and down and simulate skipping rope.
These are not what I expected at all. They seem used. Overall in real just not thrilled with them. I wish I'd made a better purchase to use but I'm new to wireless jump ropes and u thought I was doing good.
The jump rope works well. It feels like you are using a real skipping rope without the noise and possibility of tripping! The only complaint I have is that I would like the option for heavier weights. The rope only came with 1 set, and it doesn't appear that there is the option to increase the weight at a later date. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase
I bought this for my boyfriend. Cord length is good. Still too early to tell whether he is going to use it or not. For me, I have tried it and I prefer a bigger ball. Bf said ball is too light.
